I am not sure what my favorite part of Saturday’s wedding is.  Could have been the wedding Tom’s, the bride’s contagious smile (see top photo:), the groom’s cake, or maybe the sabers… Julia and Micah were married on base surrounded by bunch of handsome men in uniform and the rest of us military novices, I’m not complaining!  It’s always special when a family member can perform the ceremony, and Julia’s uncle did not disappoint; their ceremony was a perfect blend of spirituality and the couple’s personalities. And then finally the guys got to use their sabers not just for fake fighting but an awesome exit archway. Then Micah expertly cut his cake with his:)  The reception must have been as fun of everyone else as it was for me, because despite the air conditioning not working, the dance floor was always hoppin’.
