There’s a few problems with working in the wedding industry and already being married, and my wedding on Friday was certainly a reminder of that. One problem is, I see sooo many great things at weddings and wish I could go back in time and use that for my big day, like Fran’s amazing dress, gorgeous ring, simple and lovely decorations, and super handy bridesmaids. Another issue is I sometimes feel way older than the couples I get to work with, and keep using terms like “cute” and “adorable” about people who are actually my age, or even older. Luckily I don’t think I’ve offended anyone yet… Not that Fran and Justin could really have been offended by anything on Friday, they were in that starry-eyed love bubble that every couple should be in on their wedding day, I could have marched them all over Creighton’s campus for pictures and I think they would have been more than willing, knowing they were going to get to be with one another. I guess I still think the best words to describe these two would be cute and adorably in love. Enjoy the preview!
