Have you ever been to Humphrey NE? Well even if you didn’t make the turn off the highway to actually visit the 8 dozen people who live there, you could easily see the beautiful St. Francis church from miles away. However, I did make the turn into town because I can’t resist a small town wedding and Courtney and Eric’s celebration did not disappoint! It may have been a beautiful 33 degrees, but with a bride from a family 9 and a groom who can make even an outsider like me feel welcome, there was plenty of action to keep you warm. Here’s some beautiful moments I saw… The father of the groom had an impromptu walk down the aisle with 2 cuties, a wedding party with every sibling of the couple included plus a couple crazy cousins, a welcoming tradition with the unique sounds of pots and pans to love on the newlyweds, the Humphrey version of the Harlem shake, a group of people who would pose for any picture I asked as long as they could warm back up on the trailer (yes, trailer:) and a couple who’s sweet, comfortable love for one another was easily the highlight to a loud, delicious, and beautiful small town day.
