I am not sure what genre the theme song for Joanie and Craig’s wedding would be, but I know it would be upbeat and need to have unexpected lyrics. Maybe like a love ballad set to the Husker fight song:) Because their wedding day was absolutely upbeat and had some unexpected, hilarious verbal exchanges with the sources ranging from the mother of the bride, to the grooms former roomate, to the pastor herself! Everyone was vying for the most clever innuendo, and don’t think I was trying to add mine in, but this crowd was out of league.  Not only were they all funnier than me, they nearly all were musically talented. How do you compete? You don’t, you just do your darndest to keep up with the conversation, and snap pretty pictures. Which is exactly how I would want to spend my birthday, with an adorable, friendly, talented, ridiculously in love couple. Craig and Joanie, thanks for letting me peak into the first day of your marriage, I know there will be sweet music from this day forward:)
