To say I have been looking forward to this Saturday’s wedding would be an understatement. After having done Abbey’s big sister, Katie’s wedding, I have come to know that the Lickei family knows how to have classy, well fed, good time had by all kind of event. But what I didn’t realize is how long Abbey has had to plan her beautiful day. Her and Loren have been together for 10 years! Like Jr. High sweethearts. So I suppose my pining for this day to come kind of pales in comparison to what the bride has endured:) And it really showed the devotion and fun she had in wrapping the day up into a unique, timeless package. The ceremony was at the Gerald R. Ford Birthplace, and Abbey apparently also planned and executed perfect weather, because does anyone remember how last week it was 100 degrees? We tossed delicate paper hearts in the air as the newlyweds hopped on the trolley, and then cruised our way to the Scoular Ballroom. Dinner, dancing, and a long awaited happily ever after ensued:) Congrats to Abbey and Loren, it obvious you two have a great start to a beautiful color coordinated, and in great taste, life together. Thanks for letting me tag along!
