So if you’re an Omaha native, you’ll likely instantly recognize the venue for Julie and Matt’s wedding on Saturday. It was such a unique place for a celebration and a great backdrop for tons of fun pictures.  But what I hope these pictures show along with some fabulous fish and one friendly penguin named Freddy, are the very personal touches of a couple who go together like fish and chips. Matt and Julie had their very first date at the zoo and decided to meet in the aquarium, right in front of the penguins. While this may not spell romance to the average guy, to a total zoo nerd like myself, I can see why this got things off on the right foot:) So these two crazy kids finally figured out that they should spend all of their zoo trips together, forever and we watched them seal the deal right in the shark tube. We dined on cake topped with two tiny little penguins, got up close and personal with an African black footed penguin and watched Julie cruise around the whole place joking with people in the coolest, softest wedding shoes imaginable. The toasts were heartfelt, funny, and included sticky notes and peanut butter M&M’s, so obviously I was riveted  the whole time. I have one regret about attending this wedding. Now that I know how much better it is to get a ride in a golf cart from the aquarium all the way back to your car at the end of the day, it’s going to be a little harder to make that trek the old fashioned way. So other than that, thanks for a fabulous night at the zoo Matt and Julie, you two adorable love birds:) (Had to do one animal joke, forgive me)
