There were a few reasons I knew very quickly that shooting Amber and David’s wedding on Saturday was going to be a joy. The weather was wonderful (okay this whole summer has been wonderful, thank you weather gods) and they were being sealed at the Winter Quarter’s Temple in Florence, which is one of my favorite places on earth. But I also could speak a language that was common to all 3 of us through out the day, movie quotes. We found a parking spot reserved for Buttercup! Hello Princess Bride connection! We sang the Lego movie song, and David has perfected his “blue steel” look. Then one of their groomsmen played “My heart will go on” from Titanic on a plastic recorder just for Amber’s chuckles! You can’t make this stuff up! It was so great to hang out with this couple and their families, and their musical friends on their most special day. I guess shooting weddings is a lot like a box of chocolates… Enjoy the preview you guys!
