I wondered what effect having Krysta and Brandon’s wedding next door to the high school where they both attended would have on the whole day. It turned out to be a great effect! Most of the wedding party attended Gross High School as well, so no one got lost, they obviously all knew each other really well, and I think it made them all a bit more obedient… For example, I asked the grooms party to line up a V formation, and as a joke told them to flap their arms like the Mighty Ducks. Not much hesitation lead to a pretty funny picture:) At one point I had all the girls obedience too, but then the cutest ring bearer ever came to the top of the stairs behind me, and he stole all the attention, which also led to a pretty funny picture:) One of their former teachers said the heartfelt prayer over the dinner and reception, and they both had a class from their Priest as well.  With custom sunglasses, fancy socks, a very rowdy party bus, more piggyback rides than I could count, and about 10 years of adorable history between the bride and groom, this was a wedding that was easy and fun to attend, even as a Papillion outsider… I’d give it an A+ on all accounts.
