Blogging feels like journaling for the world at large. I take pictures, then I write about pictures, and the madness that was going on at the time of said pictures. And I share that with you folks. Blogging in a nutshell!

Just go with it!

Feb 5, 2015

When you plan a winter wedding in Nebraska, you have to being willing to just let go of a certain amount of control. So when it started to snow on Saturday morning, Sydney handled it like a champ. She’d already rounded up her grandmother’s beautiful fur coats for her bridesmaids to stay warm, and prepped herself to take pictures in the snow. We had a blast! When the sparklers started smoking a ton because of the cold Sydney and Tyler just busted through the cloud like rockstars, and when the bus didn’t show up in time for the big exit out of the church we naturally all marched across the (slippery and soaking wet) street to Ronnie’s to start the party. Somethings however were perhaps better than even planned, like the speech from Sydney’s sisters which included years of history between the couple and a quote from Ross Geller or the comments from Tyler’s best man, in which he managed to give marriage advice only this couple could love. Or the bundtinis they served for the cake, heaven in a cupcake liner. I got to hit 4 small towns (hair in Herman, ceremony in Tekamah, pictures in Oakland, and reception in West Point) during the course of this crazy day and I think we left each one in a better mood:) So here’s to crazy Nebraska weather and a couple who can make the most of it and more. Congrats Tyler and Syndey, enjoy the sampling…
