I have consistently enjoyed being a part of the wedding of several members of a tight knit group of college friends the past couple years. Each day was different, but the combination of hilarious and loving personalities from this group was always refreshing. This Saturday, it was Giana and Cole’s turn. And there were few additional consistencies worth mentioning. Giana constantly had animated facial expressions (a photographers dream), Cole picked a most willing and photogenic group of gentlemen to be his groom’s party, everywhere we looked there were little details fun for photographing, and everyone in attendance agreed that Cole and Giana’s personalities were wonderful compliments to the other. The bridal party could give me the best “smolder” on command and then could bring each other to tears during a sentimental moment (like the mother-son dance, ahhh), and I felt consistently inspired to keep my camera up to my face in fear I might miss another funny expression, intimate exchange, or impromptu kiss from groom to bride. So Columbus wasn’t exactly the closest location for all of us to be there, but to see these two tie the knot in an extremely consistently enjoyable day was well worth it. Enjoy the sampling…
