Have you ever been to a wedding where everyone seems stressed or worried about the details or caught up in the drama? Well picture the opposite for a good start of imagining Lisa and Andrew’s big day on Saturday. We were running almost an hour late getting to the church and because everyone was so calm we still fit everything in, with fabulous smiles. There were almost as many kids in attendance as adults, and instead of feeling chaotic, we all just embraced our “inner kiddo” and had a ball the whole day. I might have even leaned up against a lit candle on the wall while photographing their adorable first dance and singed the back of hair, and it seemed more like a joke than anything else. Naturally being so easy going has a beautiful effect on a bride and Lisa couldn’t have been cuter all day. And Andrew teared up during their first look, so he won me over immediately. My hope for the newlyweds is a low stress, “steady as she goes” life together. But feel free to freak out a little when you see your wedding pictures and how great you look.
