I showed up at Kristen’s hotel room not knowing a soul that was part of this wedding, which is pretty rare for me. But about 20 seconds after meeting both Kristen and Derin, you instantly feel comfortable and like a long time buddy. Which was great because they had a ton of buddies there for me to harass photographically anyway! So many of the guests were out of towners, had kids in tow or on the way, and no matter how hot it was (in black dresses or full suits) or how many times I said “can we do one more picture over here?”, everyone just a kept goin’. Even the 5 adorable little members of the wedding party. Maybe I should I keep a policy where I never meet the couple until the big day from now on, because it sure worked Saturday. Perhaps they were just scared of me… Kristen was able to plan this wedding from Washington and did a spectacular job! Everything was beautiful, tasty, and close together! I don’t think we traveled more than 10 miles total, and yet I could have shot another 3 hours if they would have let me… But I’m not that cruel to my new best friends:) I think anyone who joined us at the wedding would agree in my review that the bride was a babe, the groom is a hoot, the bow ties were perfect, and the green beans were to die for! Enjoy the sampling you two…
