I didn’t want to leave Kristen and Edwin’s wedding on Saturday night. I literally hung out at the reception talking to their fabulous group of friends and listening to the awesome band forever instead of trudging to my car with my overloaded bags. I think I laughed the whole day and was just soaking in as much as I could before crashing at home. It was so funny to watch the girls get ready with their inside jokes, teasing Kristen’s mom about pantyhose, or dancing in the hotel room. Then watching the kids in the wedding tossing leaves (and a Lightning McQueen) into the stream that runs through the Embassy Suites, or seeing sweet Evelyn’s face as she took in the whole room as she was pulled down the aisle in a wagon. Watching the party bus come to life as the 90’s tunes, especially Boyz II Men for Edwin, played loud and clear was the finest in wedding entertainment! The group was in such a good mood, I was able to get the grooms party to actually flap their arms like wings in a flying V formation… I was messing with them.. and they hardly hesitated! The toasts had everyone rolling, especially when you get to hear about the groom’s nervous ticks and how sly he wasn’t on the first date. But seeing Kristen and Edwin, with darling Evelyn dancing together was my highlight of the evening. Thanks for making hard to go home because you throw such a stellar party! Enjoy the sampling you crazy kids!
