I don’t know if other folks in the wedding industry do this or do it to the extent that I do, but so often when I’m photographing a wedding I’m saying to myself something like “This is exactly what I would have chosen too!” or “Holy smokes, I’d put this in my dream wedding!” Well I lost count on how many times I had those thoughts at Sarah and Patrick’s wedding. The deep green bridesmaids dresses with the rich green bouquets. The perfect amount of lace on Sarah’s dress, the thoughtful gifts they gave each other right before the ceremony. The funny, meaningful, and also reverent way their priest lead their ceremony. The party bus playlist curated to get everyone dancing. The Durham museum at Christmas time as the backdrop for a gorgeous reception. The doughnut wall (yes, you read that right). And the joining of two families that seemed so well suited its crazy. Oh and then leaving the cold wedded bliss behind to head to Costa Rica for honeymoon bliss. Cheers to falling in love with someone else’s wedding vision!
